2014 Nissan Almera Facelift !

Nissan has recently unveiled the facelifted Nissan Almera in Thailand, a sign where the Almera facelift will arrive in Malaysia soon? An 'X' shape front end has been given to the Almera facelift, giving it a slightly mean look. Also, a sportier 15-inch alloy rim design for the higher grade while the lower grade wears 14-inch.

Rear end received subtle changes. A new rear bumper design and 3rd brake light-integrated rear spoiler are spotted, nothing more. The cabin, however, has greater changes. New centre instrument cluster with piano black finishing, new steering wheel (from the facelifted Grand Livina) while a 6.1-inch DVD touchscreen is available for the high grades.

The Almera facelift will continue using the 1.2 litre engine which enables the Almera to receive an eco-car status (with tax exemption) in Thailand. In Malaysia, it is expected for the Almera facelift to use the outgoing 1.5 litre HR15DE engine, which helps the Almera in achieving a fuel consumption rating of 14.9km/l.

Wishlist for Malaysia's Almera facelift is simple: Dual airbags across the range and slightly cheaper price than the outgoing Almera's price. Then, the Almera facelift will be a hotter cake to sell, well, you get what I mean.
