I arrived Sabah from Sarawak on Wednesday night and we headed straight to our condotel (condo hotel) to rest after an exhausting day in Sarawak and half an hour flight...
Woke up early in the next day and visited Jesselton Point, where it's like a harbour for speed boats to travel from Kota Kinabalu (K.K.) to islands which are famous tourist destinations.
We went to Pulau Sapi instead of other islands like Pulau Manukan and Pulau Gaya. All of the islands are situated in Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park...

First impression of the island: What a clean beach and seawater it got there!!!
For a city boy like me never saw such beautiful and clean seawater ever in my whole life...
Unlike beaches like Port Dickson and Kuala Selangor which are greatly polluted by rubbish and petroleum leaked from boats...

After a parasailing session (dragged by a speedboat, parachuting in the middle of the ocean) and a swim at the sea, I went to somewhere in the island where there are a lot of wild, big-sized lizards (cantonese called 4 legged snake) crawling around, waiting people to prepare them lunch.
It's time for lunch! We had a buffet lunch on the island but the food is only so-so...

After going back to the mainland, we went to Sabah Foundation Building where somewhere in the tower has a cafe called Atmosphere Rotating Cafe.

According to one of its employees, the cafe will have a full rotation in 62mins... this concept is quite similar to the rotating cafe on top of KL Tower...

On the next day we went to the most exciting destination of the trip: the grand Mount Kinabalu!!!
We can travel by car to half way of the mountain. The road up to the mountain was bumpy and twisty, kinda like the old road to Cameron Highlands but far more longer than it!
Frankly I have to say tat I was very amazed and dumbfounded by the grandness & beauty of the mountain,
where its surface near the peak is made of rock coz not many plants can survive at such high altitude...
Unfortunately we were unable to see the largest flower in the world, Rafflesia since it's quite rare and only able to survive for 7 days before wilting...
We will be able to see it if we climb the mountain... So we found a replica of it to compensate for our lost!!!

Next stop: Poring Hot Spring! It's a natural hot spring situated in a park but comprises man-made pools so tat more people can enjoy the hot water at the same time.
We also went to a canopy walkway on trees.Let me tell u wat... We paid RM3 for park entrance, then RM3 to enter the canopy walkway, later RM5 for snapping pictures on the walkway for 1 camera!!!
The park really earn money, so much until they laugh in their sleep, so to speak...
We spent a night there and it was chilly... quite similar to Cameron Highlands.
However, the view in the morning was more breathtaking than Cameron coz we can see the magnificent view of the Mount Kinabalu...
The view of it in dawn was different than wat we saw in the afternoon...

After our complimentary breakfast, we headed to Kundasang War Memorial where it was built to remember the ones who lost their lives in World War 2... Again, we have to pay for the entrance fee...
Before going back to K.K. town, we went into a small forest where there were a lot of Pine trees... Tis kind of Pine tree only exist at high altitute so u can imagine how high we were at that moment...
Before flying back to KL, we went to Tanjung Aru Beach Resort to see the sunset... Well, Sabah's sunset is not bad either compared to Sarawak's.

After our last dinner in Sabah, we rushed to the airport to check-in then we headed back to KL. So, tat ended my amazing trip to Sarawak and Sabah...
I miss Sarawak and Sabah now :(
