Awkward Looking 2011 BMW X3

Isn't it the all-new BMW X3 look weird? The angular headlights and the high-mounted foglights doesn't blend well with the low-lying bumper air-duct and the circular grille!


The kept on doing the same mistake in the styling department. For the side profile, I actually prefer X1 window's line. This X3's window line looks crooked, just like how Jeremy Clarkson commented the previous generation X3's window line was drawn when the designer sneezed.



However, with a half-inch (12mm) more ground clearance, it will be better in soft-roading. Since this is a Sport Activity Vehicle (SAV), it won't be able to do any rough offroading.

The 'Corona' ring headlights is a nice touch though...

At least they did something right ot the rear! The taillights look sporty and up-to-date with the rest of BMW product line-up. It seems like the front-end designer 'is not the same/doesn't communicate with the' people who designed the rear...

Boring but classy interior. A typical BMW interior design language.

Since the all-new X3 is a half-inch (12mm) taller, 3.36-inches (83mm) longer, 1.1-inches (28mm) wider and rides on a 0.6-inches (15mm) longer wheelbase at 110.6 inches (2810mm), we can expect the interior volume has gone up a bit.

Look spacious! There are 2 air-cond vent for the back, unlike X1 which has none!
