Like what its slogan said: "The Prius family is getting a whole lot bigger". Toyota is adding a Prius based MPV into their lineup. Autoblog.it says that the Prius MPV will be powered by the same 1.8-liter hybrid engine used in the Prius, but rumours said that the power will be increased up to 138 horsepower.
A rendering of the upcoming Prius MPVPrius is a cool eco friendly car. Pricing at RM175k in Malaysia, but the price is expected to decrease after the tax on hybrid car is exempted in the year 2011. However, even with the current hefty price, a neighbour of mine actually own 2 3rd gen Prius! I think driving a hybrid car in Malaysia is actually a cool thing!

The new price for the Prius in Peninsular Malaysia is RM139,900! About RM35,000 cheaper now! However, the new price for Civic Hybrid is not announced yet.
