Recap of Maxis Om Nom Nom Race (Part 2) !

Let's start of this post with the question above. It's one of the clues we got in the Maxis Om Nom Nom Race. Can you decipher the 'bar code'?

The answer is 'Thai Base Restaurant' in Bandar Sri Damansara :)

We started off the race quite confidently, followed our dumb-dumb a.k.a. Garmin GPS blindly to Klang, thinking we might be heading to Klang for Bak Kut Teh. But due to some reasons, we were wrong and the right location was in PJ Oldtown...

So we travelled an extra 120KM from KL to Klang then to our first location in PJ Oldtown. So much time were wasted... But we saw a convoy of luxury and sport cars along the way!

The shorten this post, I will only mention the food that were nice, in my opinion. The 'Strawberry Fields' below is located in PJ Oldtown. One of its dish was the Sweet and Sour Chicken Rice, damn crispy the chicken u know??!! The presentation and taste of the dish was also nice too!



Next up was 'Tarbush' located in Sunway Pyramid! I noticed is also available in Bukit Bintang, at the roadside of Sungei Wang to Pavilion. If you happen to be there, you MUST try out its 'Mahalabia'! It's soft to the touch and to the mouth, just like tender coconut meat, but its a milk pudding. Sinful, sweet (but not too sweet), heaven, you name it!



Last but not least was the Dancing Fish located in Bangsar Shopping Mall. From the name of the restaurant you'll know that its signature dish is a fish! For some unknown reasons, I kept on calling the fish 'Flying Fish' haha! The fish was deep fried to perfection and the moment you bite the crispy skin of the fish... imagine the feel, taste and sound of it!



After the 5th location, we had to get back to Modesto before 6pm. But we reached there at 6.05pm, so some of our points were deducted. We found out that we, Team Random was in the 10th place! We travelled all the way to Klang but didn't end up last! What an amazing race!

The winner got a trip to Hong Kong worth RM10K and a HTC Desire Z for each person!

Although Team Random didn't win the race, we are happy coz we had fun!
