Behold, the 2012 Honda Civic!

Honda Civic Si Sedan

The long awaited 2012 Honda Civic has finally been revealed! By following the theory of 'if it ain't broken, don't fix it', the all-new Honda Civic does not have a huge difference compared to the outgoing model in terms of design.

It has a tad of sportiness without being over-sporty and does not make the car look bland. However, some might say the new design is being conservative because they prefer to get a whole new and fresher design. I have to agree that it is barely distinguishable compared to the current model but I do not hate the design too!

Honda Civic hybrid!

A new high fuel economy version of Civic called HF will be equipped with a 1.8-liter i-VTEC engine, designed to get EPA estimated fuel economy of 41 miles per gallon (mpg) on the highway. That's an impressive figure, on par with Hyundai Elantra's. The Civic Hybrid will be powered by a 1.5-liter, 110bhp i-VTEC engine and CVT transmission, which manages a combined rating of 45mpg.

Isn't all the Civic above look like they have high ground clearance? Isn't the steering wheel design below looks weird with circular buttons? The driver-facing dashboard looks great, more mature than the current one (youngster might not like this) and thankfully the futuristic looking two-tier instrument panel is still there!

I bet the JDM Civic that Malaysia will be getting is better than this!
