Battle Los Angeles is one of my must-watch movie in 2011 and I watched it 2 days before the premiere of it in Malaysia (kind of)! Thank Nuffnang and Jayren for the tickets :)Synopsis:
For years, there have been documented cases of UFO sightings around the world - Buenos Aires, Seoul, France, Germany, China. But in 2011, what were once just sightings will become a terrifying reality when Earth is attacked by unknown forces. I'm sure most of you know what's the story of Battle LA is about. Alien came to Earth and starting to colonize... meaning terminate people in order to take over the Earth. So, it's up to our heroes to save Los Angeles!
This is NOT AN ORDINARY ALIEN MOVIE! It's packed with action, amazing CGI graphic, gun shooting and bombing going on non-stop throughout the last 3/4 of the movie! The starting is very scary and exciting, where our heroes had their first encounter with the aliens! The aliens were smart and combat like human!According to a professor in the movie, the alien came to Earth is because of our water. 70% of the surface of Earth is covered with water, and alien need water to power their vessel and body. But out of so many natural resources on Earth, why water? *looking at the writer* The storyline was so-so and felt like the story is based on a popular game called Call of Duty...
Running and shouting everywhere... The actors and actresses did a good job in acting too.
Must watch for a war/action/alien movie lover! However, the movie might create nausea to some people because of many first person shooting style with shaky camera...Rating: 4 stars out of 5!
