Checklist before Raya!

Balik kampung…… It’s a happy activity where people living in the city travel back to their own respective hometown far from where they are staying. With the upcoming festive season, more people (equals to more cars) are expected to travel back to their hometown. A pre-check must be done before travelling to ensure the safety and a smooth journey for you and your family!

Car servicing is a MUST before going off for a long journey. Oils including engine and gearbox’s must be changed from time to time in order to reduce the wear and tear of the components, not to mention breakdown too.

If you serviced your car not long ago, check the engine oil, coolant and battery water to ensure that they are in the recommended level.

Good wipers and tyres are essential for rainy season. Never expect a smooth journey in cloudy day because rain will come out of nowhere! A clear vision and great traction are vital during raining.

Make sure you have the necessary equipments in case of a breakdown or flat tyre, such as jump-start cable and jack. By the way, be careful while changing your flat tyre on the road, you do not want to endanger your life while changing on oncoming traffic!
