2012 Euro Honda Civic Hatchback!

Honda Civic Hatchback is one of the cars that should be sold in Malaysia. However, the outgoing version of Civic Hatchback never make it. Now, Honda has unveiled the next generation Euro version of Honda Civic Hatchback, which will be making its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

According to Honda, the new Civic Hatchback’s design is inspired by a “blended wing body’ aeroplane in which the fuselage and wings blend into a single body for superior aerodynamic performance, quietness and habitability”.

Plus: I like how Honda retains the sportiness and the overall shape of the current Civic hatchback. Hidden rear door handles give the illusion of a 2-door car. Cool looking wheel arches too!

Minus: Front end resemblance Honda Insight, can be improved. Taillights are not as sporty as the outgoing model and are located too high up, reduced the sportiness when view from the back.

The interior of the Euro Honda Civic Hatchback looks much better than the Civic Sedan's! It is more tidy and looks more futuristic as well. Driver will feel cocooned in the cabin thanks to the wraparound dashboard. Honda stick with rear torsion beam for the new Civic, giving it the largest cabin in the segment. However, many improvements has been done to improve the handling of it.

With better ride, quiter cabin and more responsive powerplant, will the 2012 Civic Hatchback appeals to you more or the outgoing model?
