Do you know that you can check out the all-new 2012 Ford Ranger in its roadshow around Malaysia? Ford set up the roadshow in Sunway Pyramid, Queensbay Mall, The Curve and followed by Hills in Kuching, Citimall in KK and 1Utama in the month of April!It is very cool to see Ford labelled all the unique features that can be found on the Ranger! For instance:
More than 3 tonnes of towing capacity!
Awarded 5-star in EuroNCAP crash test, spacious rear legroom and headroom and 1 tonne of loading capacity!
Best in class 800mm of water wading depth! That is roughly as high as the headlights of the Ranger!
Interior wise, the cabin looks cool, just as commented by many journalists, thanks to the Casio G-Shock inspired dashboard! All the parts felt like they built to last (good news for a pickup truck), and the materials used doesn't feel cheap at all.
Wide angle door opening accompany with spacious rear space will ease ingress and egress despite its tall ground clearance. I'm amazed with the amount of rear space the Ranger offers.
Don't believe me? Here's a proof of me at the back seat. Yours truly is about 180cm tall and I have no problem fitting at the back comfortably while the front seat is adjusted to fit another person of my figure! I still have some extra legroom, thanks to the slim front seat's design. Gone are the old days where tall passengers sitting at the back of a pickup truck will have their knees close to their heads! The seat is tall enough for my leg to rest naturally without my head brushing with the roof!
A proof that Ford paid attention to the rear passenger's safety! A middle 3-point seatbelt!

For the 2012 Ford Ranger, automatic and manual transmission and also two engines will be available. A 3.2litre diesel mill has 200PS and 470Nm of torque while a smaller displacement 2.2litre diesel engine has 150PS and 375Nm of torque.
Visitors of the roadshow can participate in a 360-degree racing simulator! The whole platform will move when you steer your car!
Other than the Ford Ranger, Ford also displayed the (from top left, clockwise) Ford Fiesta, Ford S-Max and Ford Mondeo!
