Karate Kid Review!

Some of you might think "Karate Kid is just another typical Jackie Chan movie...". I'm sorry, you are wrong! This is a movie for Jaden Smith, son of Will Smith (I Am Legend, i-Robot)!!! Like father, like son... Jaden is following his father footsteps into acting!

Jaden has a buff body! A little scary for his age though..

Jaden first appearance was in 'The Pursuit of Happiness', together with his own father! It's rare to have a chance to act with your own father in a movie, isn't it?

Back to the topic! (brief synopsis...) In this movie, Jaden played as Dre Parker, a new kid in town who had moved to China from Detroit. He is bullied by a local Chinese boy named Cheng but was helped by Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) by teaching him kung fu! Most of the actions were done by Jaden though...

Cheng, the antagonist! Great acting by him!

There are tons of scenic views in the movie! China still owns some of the best views on the planet!

In the end, Dre entered a tournament with Cheng and they fought in the final. In our expectation, Dre won the competition, and the movie ended abruptly there. What a let down!

They had actually kissed in this scene!

Due to the bad ending, I give it a 7 out of 10...
