FILM: Review of Burlesque !!!

"It takes a legend... to make a star". Well, both Cher and Christina Aguilera are legend to me!

Synopsis (Credits to RottenTomatoes): Ali (Christina Aguilera) is a small-town girl with a big voice who escapes hardship and an uncertain future to follow her dreams to LA. After stumbling upon The Burlesque Lounge, a majestic but ailing theater that is home to an inspired musical revue, Ali lands a job as a cocktail waitress from Tess (Cher), the club's proprietor and headliner. Burlesque's outrageous costumes and bold choreography enrapture the young ingenue, who vows to perform there one day. Soon enough, Ali builds a friendship with a featured dancer (Julianne Hough), finds an enemy in a troubled, jealous performer (Kristen Bell), and garners the affection of Jack (Cam Gigandet), a bartender and fellow musician. With the help of a sharp-witted stage manager (Stanley Tucci) and gender-bending host (Alan Cumming), Ali makes her way from the bar to the stage. Her spectacular voice restores The Burlesque Lounge to its former glory, though not before a charismatic entrepreneur (Eric Dane) arrives with an enticing proposal...

Ok, overall you know how the story goes. It's (mostly) about Christina Aguilera singing and dancing throughout the movie, kinda like High School Musical+American Idol to me :)

Burlesque (pronounced as Bur-les-q) is a movie for both sexes, no matter you like musical film or not. Why so? Because for guys, there are plenty of semi naked woman dancing throughout the movie!

She danced like there's no tomorrow!!!

As for girls, there is also a hunk called Jack (Cam Gigandet) in Burlesque! Don't be deceived by his 'Adam Lambert' style, he's... straight!

Girls will not blink for a second when he shows his abs! His body will make guys envy too! There was a funny scene where he was totally naked around Christina Aguilera with only a box of Famous Amos covering his front private part!!! He says "Want some cookies? You know where to find me" LOL!


Well, sex sells to woman too XD But Burlesque is amazing on itself! Christina Aguilera's first acting career was well done, can't wait for more from her!
