7th Gen. Toyota Camry - Global Version !

After a glimpse on the American version of 7th gen. Toyota Camry, now we get to take a look at Global or European version of Toyota Camry!


A comparison of European (top) and American version (bottom) of Camry. While the American version has more Corolla (Altis) design cues, the European version headed more to Lexus' design cues. The European one indeed has more road presence, but also more conservative compared to the American one.


I wished that Toyota retain the American version Camry's taillight design but looks like my wish didn't come true. I would call the new rear design on the European Camry 'messy', it's like they are trying to combine the rear design of the outgoing European version Camry and Hyundai Sonata.


More Lexus cues are found in the cabin. High grade materials, good fit and finishing, abundant classy looking wood grain and chrome at the right place made the cabin feel luxurious and comfy. A 2.5litre, four-cylinder engine produces 178bhp and a 3.5V6 engine with 268bhp and 336Nm are available for the moment.
