Review: Samsung Galaxy S3 !

 This is my first time doing a review for a phone instead of a car! So here's a brief review on the Samsung Galaxy SIII (S3)!

Exterior design: 

Some say the exterior of the S3 is a bit roundish to their liking. I beg to differ. Yes, although it has curvier edges compared to its predecessor, the S2, the S3 retained some ruggedness while the rounder edges might make the D3 more appealing to the ladies!

Speaker at the back along with the 8MP camera with LED illuminator. The flexible rear cover gives me a sense of fragility, as it can be flexed to a great degree. However, I believe the rear cover is made like that to reduce the total weight of the phone...

Tech:

Impressive stuff! Multitasking is made easier I was able to play the video in a smaller section while I browse through the photo album! 

 The S-Voice is something like Siri on iPhone 4S. Talk to her and she will perform your order. Like they said "Your wish is my command!".

Performance:

This time around Samsung has ice cream and sandwich inside the S3. No, not food! It's the OS I'm talking about! CPU is Quad-core, almost twice the performance of a S2. Result? Super smooth browsing experience!


Camera:

Here's a small comparison between Samsung Galaxy S3 (top) and Nokia N8 (bottom)'s photo in low-light condition. Both had their flash on (S3 has LED while N8 has Xenon) and this is the result:

 While S3 has more natural colour tone, enlarge both photos and you'll notice N8's camera captured the details not only of the car, but also of the gate. S3 has more noise at low-light too. Look at the brightside, the S3's camera has more functions such as 8-photos burst mode and the phone can choose the best photo for you! Best of all, the camera has zero-lag shutter speed (only if the camera done its focusing job)!

Conclusion:

RRP for the Samsung Galaxy S3 16GB is RM2199. Although it's main competitor, iPhone 4S, undercuts S3 by RM100, I would say the S3 worth the extra. S3 is an easy-to-use, high performance smartphone and I found negligible to no fault on it.
