16th U C MAS Mental Arithmetic Competition !

Well, this was the day that everyone in U C MAS has been waiting for - the 16th U C MAS Mental Arithmetic National & International Competition! It's the day where students of U C MAS from all over the world come to Malaysia and take part in this competition...

The venue was in MMU, Cyberjaya and all the staff has to be there at 7am in the Sunday morning. After the arrival of VVIP and VIP, the ceremony starts with the 1st batch of students to sit for the competition.



"Ready..." *whistle blows* and off they go! You'll be amazed of how fast the children can perform in answering about 6 rows of double digit containing plus and minus or multiplication and division!



After both rounds of competition, it was time to hand out the trophies! It took us about 4 hours to give away all the trophies! Imagine how many children got it!

A: OMG, that's Justin Bieber!
B: There's Katy Perry too!
*just kidding*

The parents from overseas were so supportive of their children!

Jin Bei (No, it's not Beijing)

Can you see the rear view screen that I circled? A van from China named 'Jin Bei' from an automaker called 'Era' has a reverse camera! The price for it is around RM75K and can sit 14 person!


We used it to fetch delegates from overseas in KLIA for the 16th U C MAS Mental Arithmetic competition (which I will blog about it later). Stay tuned!

Kids Colouring Contest @ Sri Rampai

In conjunction of Merdeka Day, Hong Leong Bank and U C MAS held a kids colouring competition at Hong Leong Bank's Sri Rampai branch.


As an employee of U C MAS, i was asked whether I'm willing to help out on that day... and I agreed (on a public holiday!!).

I don't care much about the standard triple pay if we work on public holiday (cos this consider as a volunteer work) but I can claim my taxi fares and lunch from the company! So, deal!

Then 11am for kids age from above 7 years old to 11 years old...

Then finally the prize giving ceremony at the end of the contest! Some kids were very talented in colouring (or maybe it's because they got attend art class) and their artworks were quite impressive!


After the contest ended, me and a colleague of mine went to On The Run to have our lunch :) It's not always we get to eat free lunch!

Few weeks ago, somebody want to hire me to promote his company via blogging and other Internet sources.
However, I turned down the offer...

Now, another company employed me as a Branding Assistant mostly because of my knowledge in blogging too! Most of the job will involve typing and Internet...
Guess what? I accepted the offer and gonna start work on next Monday! ^_^

Royal Selangor factory @ Setapak (Part 1) !!!

Last year while I was in college, one of our assignments was conduct a factory visit. We chose Royal Selangor at first, but for some unknown circumstances, we visited the Yakult factory instead.

Recently, I had a chance to pay a visit to the Royal Selangor factory. When you reached the factory, you will be greeted with this beautifully designed receptionist area:

No wonder Royal Selangor got a design award!

This is the perfect place to organise a school trip or do assignment (if you are living in KL). You can apply for a trip and there will be employees to guide you.

Below is the the largest pewter tankard, awarded by the Guinness Book of Records!


I was in their office that was above their production line. From there, I can clearly see the whole production. Most of the employees in the production line were middle aged female, probably 40 to 50 years old. I guess it's hard to find skilled workers nowadays.

I snapped some pictures of the production line but not sure I have the rights to post it out in the Internet or not ~.~

I'm Hired Because I Know Blogging!

Who says blogging is useless? Somebody will appreciate your skills when they need you to blog for them!

I found a job where the company needs me to promote its product in a blog (not my blog) and also in Facebook and forum.

When All Things Come To An End

Oh... What a lonely day in the office, with no one around...... Lonely, i'm so lonely (as always)......

Last week my company was having a warehouse sales and i've decided to help them out. MyDear offers a variety of walker, stroller and playpen (i sounds like i'm promoting for them :) )


The below items are imported from Singapore (quite costly but fun and attractive, in my opinion)

Customers queued for about half an hour before being able to pay for their goods. Imagine the crowd on weekends! (Why there's a space between the customers' queue line???) :

Is it my birthday? No it's not. But the cake is in front of me......

The battle of Myvi! Even since i work for MyDear, i've sat in 4 different Myvi because the majority of the company cars are Myvi. However, i'm officially resigned now......

Annual 'Dinner'

Some of you might want to know how's the environment of my work place is. Well, this is my office, my own table! It looks like a mess but that is history after i cleaned it up for a day for Chinese New Year.

The company that i work for is called Cuang Cheng or MyDear, a company that sell baby products from baby stroller, tricycle and baby bed. It is located in a light industrial area in Meranti Jaya, Puchong. I work as a general clerk and do consignment.

Today, my company had organised a buffee dinner for all of its employees in conjuction to Chinese New Year. There's a lot of foods to eat and beers too. I didn't drank any beer because i'm still underage (believe it or not).

By the way, Happy Chinese New Year to everyone!
