In Sylphy to Setiawan !

Nice title, right? XD About a week back I was in a trip to Setiawan with my family and another family of my mother's friend, Elaine. Well, Setiawan is Elaine's hometown and we followed her back to her hometown to celebrate her mother's 60th birthday!

For some reasons, she borrowed us her Nissan Sylphy and we drove all the way from Puchong through Kuala Selangor, then to Setiawan by using the coastal road ~.~

Check out the prawn crackers! Available in Kuala Selangor (I would say Kuala Selangor has the best prawn crackers in Malaysia!)

In Sylphy...

Gosh! The road from Kuala Selangor to Setiawan was utterly atrocious. We were literally thrown up and down in the car because of the rough patches on the road. Sylphy is already a comfortable car, but it was also unsettled by the uneven road... By the way, I saw a lot of homestays along Kuala Selangor, Sabak Bernam and other places.

Sungai Perak...

After a 3 hours plus ride, we reached Setiawan and we stayed in a condo near Lumut and spent 3 days 2 nights there.


On the second day, we went to Teluk Batik! Nice beach I would say!

Searching for treasure? Haha! I think he's searching for metal trash...

Went to Pantai Remis for dinner! It was a long drive from Lumut and we were so hungry by the time we reach there! Nice food by the way!



After dinner, we celebrated Elaine brother's birthday. On the same day he proposed to his girlfriend!

Boy: Oh... I dunno how to propose...
Girl: Malu-lah...

Boy: Quickly say yes lah!
Girl: Ok ok... since I love you that much :)

All set to get married on 1st May 2011!

The river was dry on our last day in Setiawan...


In total I had 5 meals of seafood in 3 days! I had fun in Setiawan!
