Nissan 370Z Roadster at RM382,520!

Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) had launched the fully imported Nissan 370Z Roadster in the Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show 2010 (KLIMS 2010)! It's a full time two-seater convertible with a fully automatic power-operated soft top. The 370Z Roadster offers an exhilaration of open-air driving experience that you can't get from the coupe 370Z.

Like the 370Z coupe, the 370Z Roadster has the same exterior except for the soft-top roof. It's a good thing since the 370Z coupe's body is already a very sexy design. I've always love the 'boomerang' headlights and taillights! Those are very distinctive design!

The 370Z Roadster includes additional structural reinforcement over the 370Z Coupe, in both the A-pillars and side sills to compensate for the loss of the metal roof. The power-operated top only takes approximately 20 seconds from start-to-finish and is controlled by either a centre console-mounted switch.

The 370Z Roadster features a 7-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and an advanced VQ37VHR 332bhp 3.7cc engine. It also promises exceptional levels of acceleration and handling, while providing a comfortable interior with minimum wind buffeting – even with the top open. This is crucial for a cabriolet, especially soft-top cabriolet. The Nissan 370Z Roadster is available with a selling price starting from RM382,520 excluding road tax and insurance.

A cabrio with minimum buffeting is hard to come by. Probably it has some good tech to tackle these vices. Mine was so horrible at tackling these problems that I had to mount a wind deflector. But after the Windblox wind deflector has been installed, my top down drives have become surprisingly noise-free.
