Perodua D54T, the next Perodua Myvi !

When the 1st gen of Perodua Myvi was launched in 2005, it was selling like hot cake thanks to its 'small on the outside, big in the inside' concept, fuel economy and affordable price.

After selling in the market for about 5 years plus, Perodua is set to launch the successor of Perodua Myvi, codenamed D54T!


Based on the latest generation of Toyota Passo, the next gen Myvi might be powered by a 1.5cc engine and more aggressive styling as the styling have to be unisex. Some said that current gen Myvi is too 'feminine' to their liking, so this next gen Myvi is going to change that concept.


Perodua is also trying to make as many changes as possible to the next gen Myvi to distant the design from the rather weird and feminine looking Passo in my opinion.

Without any official specs announced, I would guess that the pricing will start from around RM45K (1.3cc) to RM59K (1.5cc).
