Ducati 1199 Panigale & Ducati Centre launched !

There was I, in Ducati's Centre and Ducati 1199 Panigale launching event nearby Naza PJ Automall. It was the first time I cover a superbike event (and also writing about superbike), so here it goes!

It was a nicely decorated event, love the chandeliers and roses on each of the table!

First up was Naza Group's Joint Executive Chairman, Datuk SM Faisal to give his speech:

Here's Mr. Mirko Bordiga, CEO of Ducati Asia Pacific giving his speech:

While this is YB Dato' Mukhriz bin Tun Dr. Mahathir:

After each of the VIP gave their speech, they moved to the Ducati Centre for the ribbon cutting ceremony.

There are some facilities such as gym, lounge, cafe (Dome), merchandize square (below) & training centre located within the 15,000ft centre itself. There is also an after-sales centre which has 8-bays.

However, the main character of the day was the newly launched Ducati 1199 Panigale! Priced between RM160,888 and RM209,999, the 1199 Panigale looks amazingly attractive and masculine. See how much the VIPs enjoyed the Panigale!

The Panigale weighs only 164kg but has 195bhp at 10500rpm and 132Nm of torque at 9000rpm! That's almost equivalent to a car's 2.0litre engine power output! With all that power comes with great responsibility great safety features such as ABS, Ducati Traction Control and race-derived Engine Brake Control to help you to control the beast (and the beast within you)!

There was also a Ducati Diavel in the showroom which I found has a lot of road presence. By the way, the girl in blue proved that female can have interest in superbikes too!
