The viva S only comes in Auto and additional 500bucks for metallic paint. Seems like a lot of upgrade since airbag and power steering are very important features to have in a car... might consider Viva than the underpower myvi. Hahaha....

In my opinion Myvi is a better buy considering its larger cabin, better materials used and better in safety :)

viva auto underpower too and a bit high fuel consumption..

Good and bad. Safety wise i agree myvi wins but if u gonna pay more than 13k just for that 'extra' and some ppl might just be driving to school or work alone and so the cabin space is not given into consideration to them at all... Viva is also underpower but saves more petrol when driven below 100km/hr. Anything above that, myvi is more economical... you can't even pass 90km/hr in sabah or sarawak and some places in peninsular so viva is still a better choice combine with dual airbag and power steering now :)

Anonymous: It might be underpowered and has high fuel consumption if it's under full load.

Henry: You have your point. Viva is still a good city car but if to travel more than weekend market trip, Myvi is a better choice.

Agreed with henry lee and simon har.. viva is consider a good value to buy if u drive only for work/school.34k fr auto is affordable for low & middle incomer. I just came back from perodua for a look at the latest s series n i think 34k for auto is rather cheap.Trust me..But if you talking bout safety than u can go n buy saga flx since the price are almost same. But do remember, the fc are way different..

Anonymous: Saga FLX is a more practical car because it comes with a boot... But quality and reliability wise, I would say Myvi is better. Of course, Myvi is better in terms of fc too.

I am thinking to trade in my myvi 1.3 Ezi 2009 for this new 1.3 SE.But i come to know that my present myvi have better pick up acceleration than this new one.Is it true?

Angela: Perodua cars are small on the outside, big in the inside. Plus they are good in fuel economy and cheap to run!

YBI: After some researches, the 1.3 SE uses the same K3-VE 1.3 litre DVVT engine of your 2009 Myvi. I believe the performance won't have much difference. But the new Myvi is claimed to be 15% more fuel efficient than your 2009 Myvi EZi.

Myvi se 2013 is 15% better fc than year 2009 ? Base on engine tuning?
